Overview
Storyload looks up publicly available Instagram media on your behalf. You are never asked to sign in. Lookup results and image previews may be kept in a private cache; video files are never stored on our servers.
Data we do not collect
We do not require visitor accounts, and we do not intentionally retain visitors’ Instagram passwords or browser cookies. Lookup results and image previews may be cached as described below. We do not store video files.
How requests work
Our server requests publicly available data from Instagram or a licensed data provider on your behalf. Those third parties have their own privacy policies. Metadata from a successful lookup is cached for one hour. If the same lookup succeeds a third time within that first hour, the cache expires 24 hours after that third lookup. Image previews may also be kept in a private cache. Video files are never stored on our servers and are requested only when you choose to play or download them.
Logs & hosting
Your hosting provider may keep standard access logs (IP address, user agent, requested URL) for security and reliability.
Cookies
Storyload uses Google AdSense to support the service. Google and its advertising partners may use cookies, web storage, IP addresses, and similar identifiers to deliver, personalize, and measure ads where permitted. You can manage advertising choices through Google's ad settings and any consent controls shown on the site. Essential preferences (if any) stay in your browser.
